Keep Indianapolis Beautiful - Good Turn for Nature Fall Service Project

Event Details

Good Turn for Nature, September 19 - November 4, 2018 at a participating parks, nature centers, or natural areas.

The Good Turn for Nature is a council service project aims to engage Scouts directly in acts of conservation. Scouts will participate in activities at multiple sites across central Indiana learning about the importance of caring of nature.

 

Identified conservation projects include:

- Trash pick-up.
- Weed cutting.
- Tree / plant identification.
- Bird identification.
- Trail maintenance.. and much more! 

Event: 10,000 Trees Tree Planting with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful

Scouts will survey and identify trees/plants.

Number of Scouts: 60 or more
Grade Range: 6th-12th
