Join BSA and Dale Coyne Racing for an INDYCAR STEM Experience!

May 10-11, 2019at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. 

All Scouts ages 10 and up, including: Webelos, Boy Scouts, STEM Scouts, Venturers, and Explorers, are eligible to participate! One session will be offered Friday, May 10, and  Three Sessions are offered throughout the day, on Saturday, May 11. Each session includes: 

1. Dale Coyne Racing Garage Tour and Tech Talk
2. Firestone Tires Racing Facility Tour
3. INDYCAR Tech Center Tour
4. Lincoln Electric Eagle Welding Project

Scouts will earn a  “BSA/Dale Coyne Racing INDYCAR STEM Patch” for participating and completing an INDYCAR STEM Worksheet. 

A parent/guardian is required to arrive with their scout(s) in order to sign the participation waiver at the track. 

Friday, May 10 Tour: 2:45 pm - 4:00 pm.*

Saturday, May 11 Tour 1: 9:00 am - 10:15 am, Session 2: 11:45 am - 1:00 pm, Session 3: 1:15 pm - 2:30 pm.*

*Exact tour times may be subject to slight change as we get closer to event

Each Tour begins at the white tents in the Midway, located at the corner of New Meyer and 6th street. 

Space in each session is limited to 25 total participants including scouts and parents! 

Every person must have a ticket to the Grand Prix* in order to enter the track. Tickets must be purchased through the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. https://www.indianapolismotorspeedway.com/events/grandprix/buy-tickets

Youth (15 and under) get in free with purchase of adult ticket. 

The INDYCAR Grand Prix starts at 3:40 pm.  

* A Ticket to watch the Time Trials is necessary for the Friday afternoon Session.
