Worried about the start of a zombie apocalypse? Curious about the inner workings of a Pandemic? Join the IU Fairbanks School of Public Health Exploring Open House to learn more about what the Health Department and Public Health officals do to keep the public healthy and safe!
The Public Health post hosted by the Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health (FSPH) at IUPUI will offer engaging activities and discussions with local public health professionals from FSPH and the Marion County Public Health Department, the state’s largest local health department. From learning about how to investigate a foodborne outbreak or trying on a hazardous material suit to touring a mosquito control laboratory, students will be introduced to a wide array of public health work that happens behind the scenes every day to prevent disease, protect the population and promote a healthy environment for all.
