About Belzer's Community Camp

This program is designed based on the traditional camp experience, but does not require adults to be present to guide the youth around camp.  Instead we are providing a provisional approach where Belzer Staff will act as the leadership for the youth from area to area throughout the day.

This is an excellent option for parents in the area who have to work and want their child to benefit from the camp experience, or for Scout families who cannot send their child to camp the week their pack has signed up to attend.

The week lasts Monday-Thursday 8:15-4:00pm & Friday 12:30-5:30pm after which families are encouraged to participate in the family dinner & campfire program.

Any youth ages 6-11 years old may participate in this program.  This includes Scouts, siblings, community members, boys and girls alike.

HEALTH FORMS are required for ALL youth planning to attend camp prior to the start of the camping week.

If you have problems picking up your Scout by 4:15 each day, the extended day is an option open to you!  For just another $30 for the whole week, we will provide additional program content relevant to your child as late as 5:30 each day Monday-Thursday.

Important Note:
The Week ending on July 7th will operate during the usual hours of 8:00-4:00 due to the program being slightly altered for lower numbers.
