Are you a teenager that has been curious about law enforcement? Do you want to learn what it takes to be behind the blue? Have you ever wanted to go on ride-alongs, learn how to properly use handcuffs, or see what it takes to train a K-9 Officer? Interested in becoming a police Explorer with the Brownsburg Police Department? They allow Explorers to participate in firearms training, defensive tactics, building searches and ride-a-longs with parent permission at 16 years old. The Brownsburg Police Department insures mentorship is the heart of their program. Meetings are held the Third Thursday and Last Saturday.
