Qualifications to attend the 2023 National Jamboree

Scouts BSA members must:

  • Be at least 12 years of age by the first day of the Jamboree (July 19, 2023)
  • Be under the age of 21 for the duration of the Jamboree

Adult BSA members must:

  • Be registered unit leader.
  • Youth Protection Trained

All attendees must:

  • Complete both the Crossroads of America Council and the National BSA online applications and make payment in full by the indicated due dates. 
  • Be approved by the Crossroads of America Council Jamboree Committee.
  • Participate fully in pre-Jamboree training experiences and Jamboree unit activities.
  • Submit a completed Jamboree Medical Form once they become available (late 2022).

NOTE: A parent should be listed as the "Registration Contact" (the first screen you will come to). The Scout will be listed as the "Attendee". We will communicate with the Registration Contact concerning payment deadlines, meetings, health forms, etc.

Financial Details
Beginning November 1, the fee increases to $2,345. In addition to Jamboree participation, the cost includes transportation to and from The Summit, meals in route to and from the Jamboree, personal Jamboree duffel, daypack, special patches, patrol and troop equipment, and a Jamboree training weekend.

Reservation Deposit:  $250 (non-refundable) plus all payments due until the date of registration ($1650 as of November 10)

Subsequent payments are non-refundable unless the contingent is full, the individual slot is reassigned to another youth from the waiting list, and fees are paid in full by the wait list youth.
