The induction weekend, called the Ordeal, is the first step toward full membership in the Order of the Arrow—the National Honor Society of the Boy Scouts of America. All candidates for membership must complete the Ordeal. Ordeals are held throughout the year are run within respective Tribes, along with a Lodge Ordeal.

While you are free to attend whichever Ordeal works best for your schedule, the Tribe Ordeals are broken up by Chapters as follows:
 

Central (April 29 - May 1) at Camp Belzer

• Tahkwii Chitaneyo (TCO) – Monon District
• Wapsuchuppecatt (WAP) – Fall Creek District

East (May 20 - 22) at Camp Kikthawenund

• Wahpinachi (WCH) – Bear Creek District
• Wapsusipo (WAS) – White River District

West (August 19 - 21) at Camp Krietenstein

• Allogagan (ALO) – Five Creeks District
• Kickapoo (KPO) – Wabash Valley District
• Lobarlewhense (LBH) – Pathfinder District

Lodge (September 16 - 18) at Ransburg Scout Reservation
