2021 Cub Scouts Fun Day

Sponsored by MHS, Cub Scout Fun Days are a one-day camp experience  for the whole family. These exciting events occur over two different weekends in September.  Each Cub Scout Fun Day is different and could include: 

  • Archery
  • BB Guns 
  • Outdoor Skills
  • Ecology & Conservation
  • Sports & Games
  • STEM Activities

Cost:  $10 per youth. Adults and Children 4 & under free. 

Food:  A hot dog, chips, & bottled water lunch will be available for purchase or bring your own.  

Camping:  Cub Scout Fun Day is not an overnight event and does not have camping.  Should a participating pack wish to stay overnight, the pack may make an independent reservation for a campsite at any council camp using our facility reservation system. Campsite reservations are not available at Mary Gray Bird Sanctuary. 

Attendance is limited and reservations in advance is required. No walk-ins allowed.

Things to know before your visit:

  • Everyone in your group will need to register.  No walk-ins.
  • Cub Fun Days is an outside experience with no indoor activities.  Please come prepared for the days weather and with a water bottle. 
  • All participants must have a mask with them upon entering camp. As Cub Scouts age youth are not yet able to be vaccinated we require all visitors to wear a face covering to enter all buildings including restrooms regardless of vaccination status.  Mask are required outside for unvaccinated participants when social distancing is not possible. Please model appropriate COVID-19 mitigation strategies to our youth.
  • Participants are urged to take their temperatures and perform health checks on their entire party before arrival. If a participant exhibits any flu/cold-like symptoms or has a temperature of 100.4 or above, they should remain at home.
