2020 Cub Scouts Fun Day

Event Details

Cub Scout Fun Days are a one-day camp experience with an optional overnight for the whole family. These exciting events occur over three different weekends in September and October.  Each Cub Scout Fun Day is different and could include: 

 

 

  • Archery
  • BB Guns 
  • Outdoor Skills
  • Ecology& Conservation
  • Sports & Games
  • STEM Activities
  • Campfire

Cost:  $10 per youth. Adults and Children 4 & under free. 

Food:  A hot dog, chips, & bottle water lunch will be available for purchase or bring your own.  

Camping:   At most fun days, a Saturday overnight stay is available for participants at no charge. Overnight campers must provide their own food and equipment. No overnight camping at Muncie or Bear Creek fun days. 

Attendance is limited and reservation in advance is required. No walk-ins allowed. Sanitation will be increased with regular cleaning of program equipment and social distancing will be required between groups. We will also follow the recommendations of state and local health organization which may include requiring masks. Cub Fun Days is an outside experience with no indoor activities.  

Here are some things to know before your visit:

  • Everyone in your group, will need to register.  No walk-ins.
  • All participants must have a mask with them upon entering camp. Visitors are required to wear a face covering to enter all buildings including restrooms. Masks are required to be worn in outdoor areas where social distancing of 6ft is not possible.
  • Participants are urged to take their temperatures and perform health checks on their entire party before arrival. If a participant exhibits any flu/cold-like symptoms or has a temperature of 100.4 or above, we request they remain at home.
  • Water fountains are turned off and camp will have water bottle filing stations available throughout the property.  Please bring your own water bottle.
