is an overnight camp held at Camp Kikthawenund in Frankton, Indiana. Adventure Camp supports and utilizes the aims and methods of Scouting as an integral part of the camp program. Adventure Camp will provide an opportunity for Wolf, Bear Webelos, and Arrow of Light Scouts to go camping at the region's premier Cub Scout Camp. No Tag-a-long program.
Adventure Camp sessions run from Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday. Check-in begins at 1:30 PM on your first day in camp. One leader may arrive beginning at 11:30 AM to complete paperwork and payments prior to your Scouts arriving if you would like. Scouts and leaders will participate in a swim check as part of the check-in process, so they should wear swimsuits under their travel clothes and have towels within easy reach. Check-out begins at 8:15 AM on your last day in camp. Every Scout and leader in camp will need to complete a health form found here.
Your last evening in camp will be family night. Families are invited to join their camper for dinner and the closing campfire. You may purchase visitor meal tickets earlier in your week at camp for those family members who will be attending.
All meals will be served in the dining hall. Walled tents on platforms with two cots per tent will be provided in the campsite to accommodate your pack. Each campsite is also equipped with a shelter and picnic tables, latrine with running water and supplies, a lantern and other equipment. While in camp, you will have access to modern restroom and shower facilities. All of your basic camping needs are met, so first time campers only need to bring a sleeping bag and their personal items to have a great time.
Cubs who come to camp will grow in moral strength and character, develop physically, mentally and emotionally, and become better citizens. Select one or more camp sessions for your pack to attend.
