The induction weekend, called the Ordeal, is the first step toward full membership in the Order of the Arrow. All candidates for membership must complete the Ordeal. Ordeals throughout the Lodge are held and run within respective Areas. While you are free to attend whichever Ordeal you would prefer, the Area Ordeals are broken up by Chapters as follows:
