2017 Dan Beard First Class Camp

Register your son for Dan Beard First Class Camp if he is a new Scout wanting to complete most of the requirements for Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class. This week-long day camp is an accelerated rank advancement program. It is a great way to jump-star your boys into Boy Scouts and onto the long difficult trek of Merit Badge learning. The boys will also earn one of the most valuable Eagle-required Merit Badges - First Aid. The campers will also earn their Totin' Chip and Camper (first rank Firecrafter). The program has a set limit of 30 participants, and many weeks will fill quickly.

The program is located at Camp Belzer on the northeast side of Indianapolis. The camp operates Monday through Friday from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm. Scouts should bring a lunch, swim suit and towel each day.

Extended day program is also available for families who cannot arange supervision for their Scouts after the regular day ends. Extended day lasts until 5:30 pm and costs and additional $30.00 for the week.
