The Health Care Explorers program is for students seeking an in-depth, hands-on experience in the realm of health care. Students will learn about the different professions within the hospital through hands-on activities, games,presentations and close interactions with professionals ranging from hospital administrators to doctors, nurses and dietitians. Explorers who are juniors and seniors are encouraged to shadow at the hospital as an additional way to experience the job fields. In addition, students in this program are among the first to receive information about applicable hospital job openings and similar opportunities, as well as detailed information about healthcare degrees offered at local colleges and universities.
