Event Details

Range & Target Sports Day
Join us for a day of exciting target sports at our Range & Target Sports Adventure Day! Cub Scouts will participate in BB Shooting, Archery, and Slingshot ranges—activities only available at district or council events.
NOTE: WHEN YOU REGISTER, PLEASE SELECT THE SCOUT RANK FOR THE 2026–2027 SCHOOL YEAR.
What to Expect
- This is a family-oriented event. A parent/guardian must attend with their Scout, OR the Cub Scout Pack must provide leadership.
- This is not a drop-off event.
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your selected time slot for check-in, safety briefings, and range orientation.
- This Adventure Day runs in rotating time blocks, not as full-day structured program. Scouts only need to stay long enough to complete their adventure requirements, but they are welcome to remain and continue participating in activities as long as the event is open.
- Once a Scout completes the necessary requirements, they may continue enjoying the activity (shooting, flight simulator, etc.) if space and safety guidelines allow.
- Scouts who complete the activity requirements will receive up to three belt loops on the same day:
- BB Shooting
- Archery
- Slingshot
Scouts BSA youth that wish to participate may do so, but priority will be given to Cub Scouts completing their adventure requirements.
