2026 WHITE RIVER DISTRICT PINEWOOD DERBY

Where: Yorktown Middle School Gym, 8820 W Smith Street, Yorktown, IN 47396

Hosted by Pack 303, Yorktown

Registration Fee: $10.00 per car. Registration fee supports racing, participation costs, and awards.

White River District Pinewood Derby is open to ALL WRD Cub Scouts regardless of unit participation or placement.

WALK-IN RACERS WELCOME! ALL Cars must be checked in by 9:00 AM to race.

Schedule: 

• Track Setup – Friday, March 13th – 5:30 - 7:30 pm – Please let us know if you can help.
• Online Preregistration Closes - Friday, March 8th @ Midnight
• Race Day Car Tech & Check-In - Saturday, March 14th - 8:00 - 9:00 am
• Opening Ceremonies at 9:15 am
• Cub Scout Races *$10 Each start immedately following opening cermonies.
• Open Youth Race *$10 Each (Youth 11-17, Follows Standard WRD Rules)
• Open Adult Race *$10 Each (Adult 18+, Follows Standard WRD Rules)
• Open Outlaw Race *$10 Each (Any Age, See attached “Outlaw Race” rules)
• Open to all WRD Active Cub Scouts – You do not need to be a Pack winner to participate! ALL Cub Scouts Can Race!
• All races will be run mixed rank, but awards will be by rank.

Concessions Provided by Pack 303

Trophies for each Cub Scout rank and overall winners including Best of Show and Open Races.

All Scouts and Leaders, please wear "Class A" uniforms to Saturday's event.
