Event Description:
Join Scouts from across central Indiana in one of the nation’s top parades! Represent Scouting with pride at the Lucas Oil 500 Festival Parade, a nationally recognized event alongside the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Tournament of Roses. With over 200,000 spectators, floats, balloons, marching bands, celebrities, and all 33 Indy 500 drivers, this is an unforgettable way to kick off race weekend.
- Cost: Free (registration required)
Event Details:
- Location: Downtown Indianapolis (specific rally point TBA)
- Route Distance: 1.5 miles
- Who Can Attend: All registered Scouts and Scouters (max 350 participants)
- Attire: Full field uniform required for all participants
- Parade begins at noon.
Please Note: The parade begins at 12:00 PM. Streets downtown close at 7:30 AM, so plan to arrive early to avoid road closures and ensure timely arrival at the rally point.
