Wood Badge: The Ultimate Adventure for Adults in Scouting!

New to Scouting? Just getting started as a leader? Or maybe you’ve been around the campfire a few times and are ready to recharge your leadership battery, reconnect with the heart of Scouting, and have a blast doing it? Wood Badge isn’t just another training—it’s a Scouting experience through the eyes of your Scouts. For five powerful, laugh-filled, friendship-forging days (spread across two weekends), you’ll live and learn the Scouting methods in the most immersive, inspiring way possible.

Two weekends.
One mission: to build your skill set, network, and confidence to become the best Scout leader you can be.

Whether you’ve been in Scouting for 10 days or 10 years, Wood Badge meets you where you are—and then takes you further. You’ll dive into dynamic leadership skills, cutting-edge team development, and time-honored Scouting traditions... all taught with the kind of enthusiasm, energy, and authenticity you won’t find anywhere else.

What to Expect:

  • Campfires, fun adult patrols, and authentic connections
  • Practical tools you’ll actually use—both in Scouting and in life
  • A chance to see the program through the Scout's eyes
  • Songs, skits, and shared meals that build lasting bonds
  • A few surprise “aha” moments that might just hit you in the feels

"It doesn’t matter how much experience you have in Scouting. It will be valuable."
"Go early in your Scouting adventure. Keep learning."
"Of all the trainings I've taken—Scouting, school, or work—this one had the most heart and the most impact."

Bring a friend. Leave with a patrol. Discover why Wood Badge has shaped tens of thousands of Scouting journeys across the world!
