Surveying Merit Badge

The Southwest Chapter of Indiana Society of Professional Land Surveyors will be hosting a Surveying Merit Badge class at Eykamp Scout Center. Surveying is one of the original 57 merit badges issued by the Boy Scouts of America.

According to merit badge data released by the Boy Scouts, the Surveying Badge was the fourth rarest badge earned in 2018. Don’t miss this great opportunity to educate yourself on one of the world’s oldest professions.  

Class Restrictions: Class is limited to 12 Scouts BSA Scouts.

Age Requirements: Youth should be at least 14 years of age and have a good grasp of higher level mathematical operations, including geometry skills. Bring your Blue Card signed by your Scoutmaster.

Cost: $5 Bring a Sack Lunch
