LINCOLN HERITAGE DISTRICT WINTER CAMPOREE

January 28th - 30th, 2022

Planned by Troops 186, 186G, and 102. 

We're excited to bring a Winter Camporee back to Lincoln Heritage this January! From January 28th - 30th join Scouts BSA members from across the District at a Cooking merit badge themed weekend. Thanks to the effort of our Ferdinand and St. Meinrad Troops, our Winter Camporee will help Troops and their Scouts finish the Eagle required Cooking merit badge. Much of the weekend will be devoted to completing all the requirements for the badge.

Troops will then compete in a head-to-head Cookoff Challenge to claim Lincoln Heritage's coveted axe.* Will your Troop come out as the victors, holding bragging rights for all of 2022? Join us at the Winter Camporee in January to find out what your food is really made of!

This program is open to all District and Council Scouts BSA members, as well as Webelos 2/AoL members. You must be a member of a registered unit to attend. It will be COLD in January, so please bring appropriate attire and camping gear for the weather. Read through the Leader's Guide CAREFULLY to prepare yourself for the weekend. *Only Lincoln Heritage District Troops are eligible to win the District axe. Other District's attendees are welcome to participate. Voting will be conducted by a volunteer panel.
