THIS IS FOR THOSE WHO NEED TO COMPLETE A MERIT BADGE THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN STARTED!

Fees for merit badges are Archery, $5.00; Rifle $10.00 includes (2)-25 shots rounds for rifle. Shotgun $35 includes (2)-25 rounds for shotgun. Additional 25 shot rounds are $5 for Rifle/$15 for Shotgun. It normally takes (3-4) 25 shots rounds to qualify so additional ($10.00 to $30.00 more for ammunition).  Additional rounds may be purchased at the Range as needed. The merit badge weekend is open ONLY to registered Scouts BSA and Venture Scouts looking to complete an already started Merit Badge.

Fees includes use of Bows, Rifles, Shotguns, ammunition, targets

Two deep leadership is required and Youth Protection Guidelines and the Guide to Safe Scouting must be followed.

Participants should bring a Blue Merit Badge card signed by their leader with the completed requirements already signed off. This is a chance to complete the shooting requirement for the Merit Badges that you have already started and were unable to finish in the time allowed at camp. Maximum class size for each session is 12 for Archery, 16 for Rifle and 8 for Shotgun.  Class assignments will be made in the order registrations are received.

Check in: Saturday, September 6th at 8:00am (CT), and shooting will start at 8:30am (CT) and be completed when the shooters have met their requirements. FOOD WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE for the noon meal on Saturday. It’s recommended that you bring a sack lunch if you feel you will be at the range for a long portion of the day as well a water bottle.

The deadline for submitting blue cards and registration and user fees is Friday, August 29th   NOTE:  If classes are filled prior to August 29th no additional registrations will be accepted. Date registration and fee received at the Eykamp Scout Center will determine acceptance in the class. Please submit blue cards to Greg Seibert @ firefightergreg602@yahoo.com.

Dress appropriately for the weather.

If the youth is registering individually, he/she must be accompanied by an adult.
