Cub Scout Parent-n-Pal Campout

The Boy Scouts of America, Buffalo Trace Council is hosting it’s first annual Cub Scout overnight event at the Eykamp Scout Center. Scouts will tent camp with a parent and participate in lots of fun outdoor activities like soap box derby cars, first aid treatments, animal encounters, interactive simulators, and more! 

Why should your Cub Scout attend?  FUN! FUN! FUN! The outdoor program is one of the biggest features about Scouting that appeals to boys.  Coming to this event will provide another great Scouting opportunity for your son.

Your Scout will get to participate in a campfire with skits and songs, watch an outdoor movie and observe the stars through a telescope on a monitor—all after sunset!

Cost: $40 per Cub Scout and Parent  if paid by April 13, 2018*

$50 per Cub Scout and Parent if paid after April 13, 2018*

(includes dinner and snack on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday plus program materials and event patch)

Final registration deadline:  Friday, April 20

What to bring:

Tent

Sleeping Bag/Bedding

Flashlight/Lantern

Water Bottle

Rain Gear

Sunscreen/Bug spray

Sack Lunch for Saturday

Money for Trading Post purchases

Personal items including sturdy shoes

Scout t-shirt/uniform

Water stations will be set up during the event.  Trading Post with snacks and drinks will be available on Saturday.

If your Scout has dietary restrictions, please let us know.  This information can be provided when you sign up.

This event is for a Cub Scout and one parent only.  Based on logistics and program schedule, it will not be possible to accommodate sibling attendance.

*Camperships are available upon request and due by April 1.
