Winter Rendezvous

Winter Rendezvous
Maumee Scout Reservation
The Winter Rendezvous is January 16th-18th at Maumee Scout Reservation. This is a highly anticipated and highly attended annual camporee! You don't want to miss this so put it into your annual plan for your unit to attend and participate in the fun which can be had while winter camping.
The FEAST has a fantastic menu and includes more desserts this year as requested by our particpants. The annual cooking competition will be judged by our kitchen staff, so both adults and youth should plan to enter. The theme of this year's cooking contest is "old time cabin cooking". Details and rules will be outlined in the Particpant Guide.
New Klondike stations and challenge course events will be offered to challenge even our seasoned attendees. Archery, rifle, and shotgun shooting will be available at the range and new general competitiions will take place in other areas of camp.
You will have the ability to pre-register for the following once you register your unit online.
- Pre-Register up to 2 sleds time slots
- Pre-Register for tokens to the shotgun station
- Pre-Register your adult volunteer station preference (each unit gains points in the competition by registering their adult volunteers early)
Early registration allows you to indicate both your Feast Seating preference and your campsite preference (units who have financially sponsored a dedicated campsite will be given top priority for the campsite which they have sponsored.)
The earlier your unit registers the earlier your unit has opportunities to pre-register for those items listed above.
If you missed attending one of the two online leader (Scoutmaster and SPL) meetings via Zoom I've attached a copy of the Leaders' Meeting Presentation. Feel free to reference this but the Participant Guide is your most thorough resource to prepare for this event.
Additional attachements include the BSA Health & Medical form (Parts A & B are required for this event), a map of Maumee with the stations and important landmarks identified, and directions to get to Maumee. TIP: Do not use Tower Ridge Road as it is no longer a maintained road.
