Join Hoosier Trails Council in promoting outdoor adventures to thousands of youth throughout our 18 counties in south-central Indiana.

  • Adult Scouters serve as role models who mentor youth through advancements, giving them a head start to leading successful lives.
  • Scouting introduces kids to new friends and helps boys and girls to learn to be outgoing team members.
  • Shooting sports is a cornerstone adventure offered to youth by the Hoosier Trails Council, Scouting America.
  • Scouting provides youth with an opportunity to try new things, provide service to others, build self-confidence, and reinforce ethical standards.

These opportunities not only help youth when they are young, but also carry forward into their adult lives. Scouting helps to improve their relationships with others, commitment to their work lives, stronger connections in their family lives, and dedication to the values by which they live.

Proceeds from this event helps to keep Scouting programs affordable for all Scouts. You are helping to develop tomorrow’s leaders through adventures today! What separates our event from others is that, while challenging, all shooters will be able to hit clay birds and have a good time. Shooters at the event come from all walks of life including area businesses, professionals from various fields, and casual shooters. It is a great day for a great cause. Thanks for helping Scouting to support programs at Maumee Scout Reservation!
