Welcome to Maumee! For over 50 years and counting, Maumee Scout Reservation has been a place for young people to discover the outdoors, practice leadership, and develop skills that they will use for the rest of their lives. We have welcomed many thousands of scouts through our gates, and look forward to your Troop's week of adventure in 2026!

Summer Camp is one of the top experiences any Scout will have, enjoying a week-long adventure in the outdoors while making new friendships and deepening existing ones with other members of your Scouts BSA Troop. The memories made during camp remain with you for the rest of your life.

Many new adventures await and our entire team is looking forward to see you at MSR in 2026!

Resources & Communication

Online Resources - In preparation for your week at camp, you can find online resources in several locations. Your primary source for online resources is www.HoosierMaumee.org, where you will find numerous helpful documents and resources.

Leader Emails - Be sure your Camp Coordinator is the primary contact on your registration.  You may also add your Scoutmaster and Committee Chair.  Regular updates will be emailed starting in the fall.

Registration Notes

  • Adult Leaders: All leaders attending summer camp must be registered with Scouting America with a completed background check and Safeguarding Youth training prior to attending camp and must submit a completed Health and Medical form, Parts A, B and C, no matter how many days they will be attending. Please plan ahead to ensure all leaders are registered.

  • Partial Week Leaders: Partial week leaders are those who cannot attend the entire week. Leaders can register for individual days at a pro-rated daily fee.
  • Crossover Scouts: Arrow of Light Scouts who cross over to a Troop between January 1st and the beginning of camp are eligible for the Early-Bird Payment Rate to encourage their attendance with your Troop.

  • Youth Eagle Scouts: We would like to honor Scouts that have earned the rank of Eagle Scout by giving them an opportunity to demonstrate their leadership at camp while enjoying merit badge classes, activities or volunteering to help around camp at a 50% discount.

  • Campsite Capacities: Campsite capacities are approximated numbers of campers that can comfortably fit into the campsite using typical unit tenting. Maumee Scout Reservation does not provide tenting.

  • Deposit: The $195 Unit Reservation Deposit, required when making a registration, is non-refundable.  The Unit Reservation Deposit is paid once. All of the unit reservation deposit will be allocated back to your registration.

  • Financial Assistance: Finances should never be a reason for a Scout not to attend camp. Hoosier Trails Council offers a Campership program to Hoosier Trails Council members of the BSA where recipients can be awarded up to 50% of the early summer camp fee.

    • Hoosier Trails Council Campership Application: To be considered for the first round of camperships, applications must be received by the deadline (April 1, 2026). The Campershipp application can be located under 'Attachments'.

Your campsite will not be reserved, and reservation will not be made without the $195 deposit per unit.

THANK YOU for deciding to join us in 2026 at Maumee Scout Reservation! Let us know if you have any questions during the registration process.
