Congratulations and welcome to the 2018 District Pinewood Derby! All of the drivers racing with you today have competed in their own Pack Pinewood Derby earlier this year. You and your fellow drivers represent Cub Packs from Jennings, Jackson, Decatur, and Bartholomew Counties. Your driving skills and sportsmanship will be on public display today. Cheering on your car and fellow driver’s cars has been rumored to increase the speed of the car as it runs down the track. So …. Yelling, screaming, and cheering on your car as it rips down the track is expected. We will be awarding trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, place for each den (Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webs I and II). On the family races we will award trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Anyone who will be racing must follow the official rules to be able to race.
