2026 Lincoln Home District Pinewood Derby! Featuring the top cars from each unit and a second chance qualifying race. Units may register their top 3 cars from their Pinewood Derby. Please register these cars as 'Pack Finalist.'

Individuals not qualifying from their Pack, and Scouts that did not participate in a Pinewood Derby, may qualify by competing in a second chance race. Please register these cars as 'Cub Scout Qualifying Race.'

Other Races:

• Open (Same rules as youth races), open to all
• Outlaw (modified cars, please see rulles) 

Event Check In: 2:30 PM
Second Chance Race: 3:00 PM
Main Event: 3:30 PM (or following second chance race)

Q: What criteria are supposed to be used to determine the top three finishers in each Pack?
A: It is at the sole discretion of each Pack to decide how the three advancing cars are chosen.

Q: If a Scout finishing in the top three in my Pack crossed over into a Troop prior to the District Pinewood Derby may the Scout race in the District Pinewood Derby?
A: Yes! 

Q: May a Scout who has crossed over into a Troop this school year enter the second chance race to qualify for the District Pinewood Derby?
A: Yes! 

Q: Do outlaw or open class cars have to been previously raced this program year?
A: No, new cars may be build for these categories. Cars raced in previous years are also eligible.
