Take the first step toward becoming an NRA Co-Op Muzzleloading Rifle Instructor by completing the NRA Co-Op Muzzleloading Rifle Basic Course. Hosted by the Illowa Council Range & Target Activities Committee, this comprehensive one-day course provides participants with the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to safely operate, maintain, and shoot traditional muzzleloading rifles.

Successful completion of this Basic Course is required by the NRA before participants may enroll in the NRA Co-Op Muzzleloading Rifle Instructor Course, regardless of previous shooting experience.

Whether you're preparing to become an instructor or simply want to build a solid foundation in muzzleloading firearms, this course emphasizes safe firearm handling, proper loading techniques, equipment maintenance, and range procedures.
