Boo Camp 2017: With the Wild Things

You won't want to miss our annual Halloween day camp! Join us this year for some WILD adventures! An incredibly popular event, Boo Camp mixes Halloween fun with Scouting adventures.  Cub Scouts and their friends, family, Dens, or Packs can travel a hunted trail, enjoy a hay ride, complete spooky STEM activities, visit a petting farm, see the Order of the Arrow dancers, shoot bow and arrows, and much more.  Boo Camp features 10-15 activities and new special guests each year. Advancements offered!

PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING: IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Due to the limited parking available at Camp Oakarro, guests will take a shuttle bus from Immanuel Church in Wadsworth, about 7 minutes from Camp. If you need to park at Camp Oakarro due to a handicap or disability, please contact Emily Prymula at emily.prymula@scouting.org. 

Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to Immanuel Church for your session time to check in. Buses depart every 15 minutes. We understand that life can be unpredictable, so if you do happen to be late to your session, we will get you and your family on the next available bus. 

Typically, families spend about 3 hours at Boo Camp. You are welcome to leave earlier, but we ask that you try to stick to the departure time listed on your session so that we can maintain a safe capacity at Camp Oakarro and ensure that all guests receive the full Boo Camp experience. 

Lunch is available for an additional $5 per person, or you may bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in the pavilion. 

All guests are encouraged to come in their best "wild" family friendly costume attire! Please be mindful of the weather.
