Learn how to light the fire and keep it going, how to work with youth to implement the Patrol Method, how to add sizzle with the outdoor program, advancement, and much more!

This course is a classroom version of the training required to be considered a Trained Scoutmaster or Assistant Scoutmaster. 

NORTHEAST ILLINOIS COUNCIL UNITS: Use the Autofill button next to each participant spot to add names. If a name is not listed, use the Update Information button instead. Contact your Unit Leader if they should be on our list to ensure the participant is properly registered; include Debi Geiger or Sam Dummer in the email so they are informed of their BSA status.

This Training Event Will:

• Identify resources to help you with the process.
• Answer your individual questions.
• Allow you to network with others for support and additional ideas.

NOTE:  All leaders must update their Youth Protection certification and renew Hazardous Weather training every 2 years.
