Quiver Fest

Join us for Quiver Fest, a Cub Scout Archery extravaganza with an afternoon session for Scouts BSA Youth to work on the shooting portion of the Archery Merit Badge. Sponsored by Pack 83 and the Northeast Illinois Council. Your Cub Scout will learn fun facts about archery today and will complete the requirements for their rank!
COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS: Everyone must wear a mask when they arrive, during check-in, and when they leave. Participants may remove them while shooting.
LOCATION: Big Foot Archers, N960 Hillside Drive, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin 53147
ARRIVAL TIME: Please arrive 30 minutes before your session time to ensure that the event runs on time.
DEPARTURE TIME: Please leave the archery area and building within 10 minutes of your session's ending time.
PLEASE NOTE: Big Foot Archers is an INDOOR range, so we will be able to hold this event, no matter what the weather is like outside!

COST
- $15.00 per Scout
- $5.00 per Sibling ages 5-10 (Scouts have priority)
- $9.00 per Adult - If there is still room in a session, you can register and pay at Big Foot Archers
ARCHERY MERIT BADGE SESSION - Shooting Portion Only - Make sure to bring your Blue Card with you!
- 2:00 - 5:00 PM - 10 Maximum Scouts (no siblings allowed)
CUB SCOUT SESSIONS - 12 Maximum each session
- 9:00 - 10:00 AM

RANK REQUIREMENTS COVERED
TIGERS
- Identify three parts of the arrow and three major parts of the bow you will be shooting.
- Shoot three arrows at a target on an approved range; then repeat and do your best to improve your score (shoot a total of six arrows).
- Demonstrate proper range commands and explain how and when to use them.
WOLF
- Identify three parts of the arrow and four major parts of the bow you will be shooting.
- Shoot five arrows at a target on an approved range; then repeat and do your best to improve your score.
- (Shoot a total of 10 arrows.)
- Demonstrate proper range commands, and explain how and when to use them
- Tell five facts about archery in history or literature.
BEAR
- Identify four parts of the arrow and five major parts of the bow you will be shooting.
- Shoot five arrows at a target on an approved range; then repeat twice and do your best to improve your score
- each time. (Shoot a total of 15 arrows.)
- Demonstrate proper range commands, and explain how and when to use them
- Tell five facts about archery in history or literature.
WEBELOS/ARROW OF LIGHT
- Identify five parts of the arrow and six major parts of the bow you will be shooting.
- Shoot five arrows at a target on an approved range; then repeat three times and do your best to improve your
- score each time. (Shoot a total of 20 arrows.)
- Demonstrate proper range commands and explain how and when to use them.
- Tell five facts about archery in history or literature.
