Join us for one of our Indoor Rifle Merit Badge Days!

Trained and qualified volunteers will staff this event where Scouts BSA Youth and Venturing Crew can complete the Rifle Merit Badge in its entirety or just work on the Shooting Portion - Bring Your Blue Card, either way!

NORTHEAST ILLINOIS COUNCIL UNITS: Use the Autofill button next to each participant spot to add names. If a name is not listed, use the Update Information button instead. Contact your Unit Leader if they should be on our list to ensure the participant is properly registered; include Debi Geiger or Sam Dummer in the email so they are informed of their BSA status.

REQUIREMENTS

• Read the Rifle Shooting MB Pamphlet.
• Review the requirements: Option B for Air Rifles.
• Print, complete, and bring with them the worksheet - Option B for Air Rifles.
• Bring a completed Blue Card signed by their Troop Scoutmaster.

MERIT BADGE STATIONS: Scouts will rotate between class time and the range.  There are five lanes for five shooters and five spotters on the range simultaneously (10 total scouts), rotating with other Scouts within those positions/stations.

WEATHER PERMITTING: If the weather permits outdoor exploration, all scouts at camp will have the opportunity for self-directed Geocaching, nature study, bird study, and tree identification games.
