Join us for Indoor Air Gun Shooting in the Jadel Center

Camp for the weekend or visit for the day to check out our new indoor Air Rifle/Pellet gun shooting range in our Jadel Center. Trained and qualified volunteers will staff this event.  This is a day of fun on the range set aside for older scouts (this is not an advancement opportunity).

COST:

• Free - Northeast Illinois Council Scouts BSA Youth, Venturing Crew Members, and registered Adult Leaders.
• $5 - Out of Council Scouts BSA Youth, Venturing Crew Members, and their Adult Leaders or unregistered parents.

• 9:00-10:30
• 10:30-12:00
• 1:00-2:30
• 2:30-4:00

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PARTICIPANT LIMITS: We will allow 20 Scouts/parents to register for each time slot. We have five lanes so that we can have five shooters and five spotters on the range at once.  Therefore, if we have 20 participants in a 90-minute period, each can shoot for 22 minutes and spot for 22 minutes.  Ten shooters and spotters will be allowed in the range for the first 45 minutes, and then for the remaining 45 minutes, the next set of 10 shooters and spotters will be allowed in.  If fewer than 20 sign up for a time slot, each participant will have more time to shoot.

WEATHER PERMITTING: If the weather permits outdoor exploration, all scouts at camp will have the opportunity for self-directed Geocaching, nature study, bird study, and tree identification games.
