Family Adventure Camp (at MSR)

Attention all Cub Scout Packs and Families!
Join us at our overnight camp nestled in the scenic Northwoods.
Family Adventure Camp (formerly Akela Camp) is held at Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan Scout Reservation in Pearson, Wisconsin. Cub Scouts will experience an immersive Scouting program, from swimming and boating at the waterfront to hiking, leatherworking, target sports, and sleeping in beautiful East Camp. Scouts will have access to the full resources of a world-class Scouting camp.
Your time at camp is certainly one you want to share alongside your fellow Den families, but it is not required. Your family is welcome to register for and attend camp, even if your Pack is unable to join. Also, families and Dens from the same Cub Scout Pack will camp together, even if separate registrations are completed. Contact Debi if you have questions about registering online (see Contacts for her email and others). If your Den has a Den Chief, they are welcome to participate!
This 4-Day, 3-Night experience allows your Cub Scout to gain a sense of independence and have unplugged off-screen fun, all while earning advancement and learning new skills. Campers can go swimming and boating at the waterfront, hiking around the camp, and work on their Scouting skills at a variety of different program areas.
