Please join us for Cub Scout Den Leader position training!

This course is designed to equip new den leaders with the necessary information and tools to conduct a successful Cub Scout program. 

Safeguarding Youth Training required: Adults, please provide your SYT completion date, and make sure your training is current (not expired) by the time of the event.

LOCATION: Kasperson Center for Scouting, Vernon Hills

FEE: $5 (for materials; will be refunded upon successful completion of the course)

This training event will:

• Provide an instructor-led, den leader-specific training
• Answer individual questions
• Allow you to network with others for support and additional ideas
• Identify resources to help plan den meetings

NOTE: All leaders must update their Safeguarding Youth Training certification annually and their Hazardous Weather Training every two years. 

PAYMENT PROCESSING FEES

• Credit card payments (online or at the office/store) will have a 3% processing fee.
• E-check payments (only available online) will have a 0.5% (1/2%) processing fee.

Mail-in Payment Option
The mail-in payment option closes 15 days before the event. To avoid processing fees, complete or update your online registration before that date. Include the payment amount, event name, and registration contact name or registration number. Make checks payable to Northeast Illinois Council, BSA and mail or deliver to:
