Cub Scout Family Camporee @ Indian Mound Scout Reservation

Join us for our kick-off Cub Scout camping event at Indian Mound Reservation, located near Milwaukee, WI.  A fully planned program full of essential Cub Scout experiences awaits your scout and your family: from archery to rock climbing, from campfires to sleeping under the stars (or in a cabin with a flush toilet for all our newbie campers), our Camporee promises fun for all ages.

• When:  Friday, April 27 - Sunday, April 29
• Youth and Adult Cost:  $50 Early Bird Fee until March 1 (11:59 pm); $75 Regular Fee

Twilight Camp @ Crow Island Woods

Twilight Camp is our featured "twilight time" program for Cubs.  A great introduction to the camp experience, this program rotates through stations meant to challenge and inspire while keeping Scouts active and engaged. Our volunteers have designed a tried and true program that leaves lasting memories.  This event fills up quickly, so register soon!

NEW: If your scout needs a scholarship for Twilight Camp, make sure to choose the mail-in payment option to finalize your registration.

• Who:  All Cub Scouts
• Where:  Crow Island Woods, Winnetka, IL
• When:  Friday, June 8 4:10 pm-8:30 pm and Saturday, June 9 1:10 pm-8:30 pm
• $60 Early Bird Fee - January 2-May 24 (11:59 pm)
• $75 Regular Fee - May 25-June 3 (11:59 pm)
• Check-in Times:  3:30 pm on Friday and 12:30 pm on Saturday

TWILIGHT CAMP SCOUT/ADULT RATIO REQUIREMENTS:  At least 1 adult is required for every 5 Cub Scouts from a Pack. ALL Tiger Cubs require a parent/approved adult partner with them throughout the program. A Tiger Cub chaperone from a Pack counts as 1 adult to the 1-to-5 ratio.

New In 2018:  To better serve our scouting families, we have changed from a 3-day program on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (3:30 pm-7:00 pm each day), to a 2-day program on Friday and Saturday (see times above).  With the new program on Saturday, your Cub Scouts will get the full experience of Twilight Camp in fewer days!

Webelos Resident Camp (Akela Camp) @ Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan

Attention!  If your scout will be a Webelos I or Webelos II this summer or fall, have we got the camp for you! Come to Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan with your scouts to watch them experience a preview of the full Boy Scout program!  Participate in programs designed just for your scouts who will have the chance to scale our climbing wall, swim and sail in Lake Killian, and more!  Attend the same session as other Webelos from your den or pack, or the one that works best for you!

Early Bird Fees, if registered and paid-in-full January 2-June 15, 2018 (11:59 pm)

• $150 – Webelos I and Webelos II*
• $75 – Adults
• $100 – Den Chief

*A $75 deposit only option is available for Webelos until June 1 (11:59 pm).  IMPORTANT:  The balance for all participants must be applied or paid online by June 15 (11:59 pm) to remain at the early bird fee.  If not applied or unpaid, each fee will automatically increase by $25 on June 16 (12:00 am).  Sorry, late fees will not be waived.

Regular Fees, if registered June 16-June 30, 2018 (11:59 pm)

• $175 – Webelos I and Webelos II – Full payment is due when registering
• $100 – Adults
• $125 – Den Chief

NOTE: An Adult registrant is either the Scout’s parent, or an adult from the pack or den who has written permission (from the parent) to supervise that specific Webelos during the event.

Cub Scout Day Camp @ Camp Oakarro: The Oregon Trail

Get ready to travel the Oregon Trail during Cub Scout Day Camp!  Join us this year along the Oregon Trail! Your scout has the chance to explore with Lewis & Clark and the frontier pioneers as they mine for gold, establish a homestead, and discover new adventures every day!  Cub Scout Day Camp is our premiere weekday program for Tigers through Webelos. It gives Cubs a chance to get a taste of the camp experience and still enjoy the comforts of home at night.  Day Camp is a right-of-passage for young Scouts and gives them a chance to learn the basics of camping before embarking on their next big adventure.  

• Who:  All Cub Scouts
• Where:  Camp Oakarro, 40635 Mill Creek Road, Wadsworth, IL
• Dates:  Three sessions to choose from (see below)
• Times:  Each session is Monday-Friday, 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.*
• $150 Early Bird Fee - If registered and paid-in-full January 2-June 15, 2018 (11:59 pm)*
• $175 Regular Fee - If registered June 16-June 30 (11:59 pm).  Full payment due when registering.

*​Parents/authorized adults must pick up scouts by 3:45 p.m. or they will be charged the Extended Day Camp Program fees, payable upon arrival.

Session 1: July 9-13
Session 2: July 16-20
Session 3: July 23-27

NOTE:  Families with multiple scouts registered may receive special discounts, as well as families who send their scout(s) for additional weeks of Day Camp!  More details to come.

Additional Services, if needed:  You can add the Early Drop-off Service ($25), the Late Pick-up Service ($25), or both ($50) when registering your Scout for his session of Day Camp.  These are per week fees (no discounts for partial week use of services).  EXTENDED DAY CAMP PROGRAM (This page includes early drop-off and late pick-up times)

This nearby weekend camp introduces Cub Scouts to the overnight camp experience, with the added comfort of their family or den – At an age when they still think that’s a good thing. This program is rewarding for our Cub Scouts and even more so for their families, as they participate in unforgettable family activities together.
