MSR 100 Community Workshop

Join us at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church for an interactive community workshop on Tuesday, June 7th starting at 6:30 PM (promptly) where you can learn about the work being done on the Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan master plan!

We’ll have diagrams, sketches and graphics on display, showing ideas we are considering for enhancement of the Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan experience.

Concepts being presented will include:

• Ways to make Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan into an even better summer camp
• Possible dining hall upgrades, Country Store expansion and new facilities
• Trails, fishing piers and other features that could be added or enhanced
• Expansion of transportation options among East Camp, West Camp, reservation facilities and Wabaningo

Come to see what might be in store for the Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan of the future!

This event is hosted by the NEIC’s MSR100 Task Force and our master planning firm, The Lakota Group.

The workshop will be available both in-person and via Zoom.  In-person attendees will have a more robust experience, as they will be able to wander the exhibit hall and talk with task force and Lakota personnel about the different concepts after the opening remarks. Online participants will be able to hear the opening remarks and then view the various diagrams and other materials online.  All participants will be able to comment via an easily-accessible online portal.
