The 2021 OA Winter Banquet is going to be a BLAST!!! We are going to Celebrate every challenge and accomplishment that our lodge and its members had during 2020 in COVID style with a Drive-In Event!  We will present awards, be entertained, and look toward the future of Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan Lodge 40.

Location: Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 29700 N St Marys Road, Libertyville, IL  60048 (in their parking lot)

Date: Saturday, February 20, 2021

Arrival Times: 5:30 pm to 5:45 pm.  Please arrive early to allow time for check-in and parking.  Thank you for your consideration.

Program Times: 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm (the latest)

Online Registration Closes Friday, February 19, 11:59 pm. On-site registration will be available, but pre-registration is highly recommended to secure a parking spot.  

Cost

• $0 - OA Sustaining Member
• $5 - OA Member
• $5 - OA Lodge Guest
• The event fee will help cover the cost of facility usage, awards, and a special Winter Banquet Lodge Flap that will be available after the banquet.  Patches will only be available to those who attend the Banquet

Event Limits

• 100 vehicles are able to fit in the parking lot; you'll see that question on your registration.  
• The waitlist starts at 120 people, but that will be flexible as long as there are parking spaces available.  

COVID Mitigations 

• Check-in will be done once your vehicle gets to the first bend in the parking lot 
• Unless you are called up to receive an award, please stay in your vehicle/area 
• Award recipients will be called up to be handed their awards in a socially distanced, masked manner 
• No meals will be provided, but the Lodge is coordinating a fundraiser with a local restaurant and will provide details as they are confirmed.  Funds will be used in the creation of an OA Scholarship fund for National Events, OA High Adventure, and other participation in the OA
• Bathroom facilities are available

If the weather prevents us from holding a drive-in event, it will be moved to an all-virtual format with information made available at that time.
