BSA requires that each crew have two participants who have completed both Wilderness First Aid and CPR training, and show certification documents upon arrival.  With two Wilderness First Aiders on the trek the crew will be better able to handle emergencies.  This requirement can be met by youths or adults.

The prerequisites to SIGN UP for the course are 14 years of age and a current Adult CPR with AED from any recognized agency (i.e. Red Cross, American Heart or ECSI.  A course that is on-line only is not valid). 

Just bring a copy of the card the class.  Youth members must also have completed First Aid Merit Badge.   

Note: This is a two day (16 hours) course.  Just one registration needed.

Not an overnight – You commute for 8:00 AM start each day.
