NRA Basic Rifle and NRA Basic Shotgun certifications are prerequisites for NRA Rifle Instructor and NRA Shotgun Instructor certifications respectively.

SESSIONS: Choose the Class Day (NRA Basic) Rifle, or the Class Day (NRA Basic) Shotgun Session - You must complete 2 registrations to take both.

Two Required Sessions For Each Course: Class Day at the Kasperson Center and Range Day at the Conservation Club of Kenosha County in Bristol, WI. You must attend both sessions (dates) to be certified.

Please bring your own 22 bolt action rifles and/or shotguns to Range Day if possible since practicing with your own firearms is best.

Class Day (Instructional) Schedule

• 8 AM-12 PM: NRA Basic Rifle
• 12 PM-1 PM: Lunch - Will be provided
• 1 PM-6 PM: NRA Basic Shotgun

Range Day Schedule

• 9 AM-11:30 AM: NRA Basic Rifle
• 11:30 AM-12 PM: Lunch - Will be provided
• 12 PM-3 PM: NRA Basic Shotgun
