WHY RACE? Because it's FUN! 

The premise of Cub Mobile is classic Scouting fun at its finest: your Cub Scout Den builds a soapbox derby-style car that the Cub Scout can drive. Then, they race it as often as possible during their time slot!

Win some, lose some. What could be better? Cars race two at a time, as often as time allows, on a closed, gently sloped course at the Caboose Park in Lake Villa. It’s a great way to spend a spring day with your Pack. 

We recommend that each den build its own Cub Mobile. Building and painting your car(s) is a great team activity.

NORTHEAST ILLINOIS COUNCIL UNITS: Use the Autofill button next to each participant spot to add names. If a name is not listed, use the Update Information button instead. Contact your Unit Leader if they should be on our list to ensure the participant is properly registered; include Debi Geiger or Sam Dummer in the email so they are informed of their BSA status.

Registering for Race Times

If you would like to register for this event, click on the "Register" link.  

Under the "Attendees" tab, click on "Update Information" for each space reserved to add scout names and choose their session time from their class schedule (click on the "Select Classes" button). 

TIMES TO CHOOSE FROM: 9-10, 11-12, 1-2, 2-3, or 3-4

Once you complete the registration, you will receive a confirmation email with an "access registration" link.  Use this link to add more scouts with their class times or to change existing class times for one or more scouts.

*A 3% Processing Fee will be assessed for all online Credit Card payments. **A 0.5% Processing Fee will be assessed for all online e-Check payments. *** Checks sent or brought to 850 Forest Edge Drive, Vernon Hills, IL 60061 will not be assessed this Processing Fee. Make sure the Memo line mentions your registration number.
