This training is intended to teach and help Scouts BSA Troops and Venture Crews on how to develop and improve on their leadership skills; and in their leadership positions within their units to understand their responsibilities, and to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to fulfill those responsibilities.

This weekend is designed to energize your unit with leadership training for the next generation of youth leaders. They will not only learn leadership and team building skills but will learn with their fellow youth how to make their unit a more exciting youth led unit. Practice during the weekend on how to run a successful unit, Leadership meeting, and Yearly Planning meetings. Sample Campfire and Scouts Own programs will be held during the weekend.

Great Introduction to get youth ready to go to NYLT next year. Wonderful way for youth in your unit to learn to work together towards a common goal(s). Camping is similar to what you will find at NYLT.

Food is provided and prepared by the staff, but please bring your usual camping gear, mess kits, tents, etc.
