The purpose of the Trainer’s EDGE course is to develop the skills of a trainer, with a focus on the participant.  

Time and experience can polish these skills.  However, this course is intended to “train the trainer” on behaviors and resources with hands on experience in methods and media.  We have a special breakout in the afternoon to cover the My.Scouting unit reports.

Whether you are brand new or have years of great experience, NEIC and your district welcome your participation to reach all levels of the program.

Pre-course  Preparation:  Please  prepare  a  10‐ to  12‐minute  presentation  on  a  topic  from  any  BSA  material.  Your  presentation  should  allow  you  to  demonstrate  the  skills  of  a  trainer.  You  will  receive  constructive  feedback  on  your  presentation  from  the  other  participants.
