The Klondike Derby is an Annual Winter Scout Competition where patrols of 5-9 Boy Scouts pull homemade sleds though stations, demonstrating teamwork while having fun and competing for the coveted “Klondike Cup Trophy”!
This year the program has been expanded to provide a weekend destination event offering the following Triple Play options for a Full Weekend Winter Adventure Program:
Cold Weather Camping: two (2) nights of camping are included (though optional) on Friday January 19, 2018 and Saturday, January 20, 2018. (Patrols must provide their own food and cooking equipment for all meals other than Saturday Lunch, which is included in the Klondike Derby Pricing.
"Gold Rush to Crown" Klondike Derby - Saturday, January 2018 from 7:30AM - 3:00PM (This year, lunch for all Scout and Adult Participants is include with the Klondike Derby Pricing.)
Wilmot Mountain Night Skiing/ Tubing - For an additional fee, discounted rates for off-site Skiing and Tubing on Saturday evening after the Klondike Derby or Sunday. Separate fees/registration required, and transportation will need to be coordinated by each Troop. All Wilmot Mountain youth and adult participants must download and complete the "Release Form" on the right-hand side of this page. Form must be turned in to Wilmot Mountain on the day of participation.
