Bring a sack lunch and drink, a chainsaw if you have one, and any safety gear you own (chaps, helmet, gloves, safety glasses).   We'll have extra safety equipment available during training if you don’t. Do not purchase new safety gear before the course as what you learn may affect your choices.

Fee for the course is shared across all attendees.  It will be $100 per attendee for 8 hours of training by a professional instructor. Payment will be collected the day of the course.

This course is required to operate a chainsaw on Scout property and will be recorded in the participant's My.Scouting profile. This course is available to those 18 and older, but due to recent changes in National Policy you must be 21 to operate a chainsaw on Scout Property.
