Three Fires Council - Spring 2018 Engineering Challenge

Who:

Boy Scouts of the Three Fires Council interested in STEM 

(Boy Scouts only, no cubs or adults)

What:  

TFC STEM’s Committee 2018 Engineering Challenge will be a contest to see who can build the strongest bridge.  Prizes will be given for placing.

Where: SciTech Hands on Museum, 18 West Benton St., Aurora, IL  60506

When:

Thursday April 12th, 2018 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. 

(Adults can stay or be back by 8pm to pick up.)

Why:  

It is a way to test your engineering prowess and have fun at the same time.

How: 

You will work in teams; you will receive instructions and materials to construct the challenge delivered to you. It is a race against the clock and your opponents to see who has the right stuff to be an engineer.   Have your team declared a Champion !

Cost:  $5  per Team (Suggested Team size: 2 to 4 Scouts) Max of 20 Teams

per challenge on a first come/first served basis.

Registration & Payment:

• You must be registered in a team, no single registrations!
• Registration is online at www.threefirescouncil.org
• Registration closes Friday, April 6, 2018
• Payment made at the time of registration.
