Canoeing Merit Badge and Paddle Craft Safety

The Three Fires Council BSA, in partnership with the Kendall County Outdoor Education Center, is ready to challenge Scouts to learn and earn their Canoeing Merit Badge.  Paddle Craft Safety will be offered for adults at the same time.

Our team of Instructors boasts accomplishments including Eagle Scouts and Scout Leaders with decades of experience in lake, river, whitewater, and Boundary Waters paddling. 


WHAT- Canoeing Merit Badges or Paddle Craft Safety (adult)
WHERE- Silver Springs State Park, 13608 Fox Road, Yorkville,
WHEN- May 11, 2019    8:30 am-4:30 pm
Cost for MB- $40.00 fee covers Counselors, Canoes/Kayaks, Paddles/PFDs, snacks and drinks (bring your own lunch).  $50 for Paddle Craft Safety with an additional work day
•On land requirements and the PCS test will be cover at a later date to be announced.
PREREQUISITES- Successful completion of the BSA Swim test; completion of Merit Badge workbook, and review of requirements
