Section G9 Invites You to the 2026 G9 Winter Council of Chiefs

Dates: Saturday, January 24, 2026 - 10am - 4pm

Location: The Kalahari Resort & Convention Center, 1305 Kalahari Drive, Wisconsin Dells, WI 53965

Winter Council of Chiefs is an OA Section event held at the Kalahari Resort & Water Park near Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. The meeting will be held on Saturday, January 24th, and it will include a brief overview of past and future events at the Section level and higher, as well as some planning for the next Conclave, happening in April of 2026. This year's Conclave is being held at Camp Long Lake in St Cloud, Wisconsin

The cost of the Winter Council of Chiefs will be $35 for the meeting alone which includes meeting space, supplies and buffet lunch. Walk-ins are not allowed, If attending you must register and pay in this registration ON or BEFORE Monday, January 5th.

You also have several options for those of you who wish to spend the night either Friday &/or Saturday and book a hotel room. Rooms must be booked and paid for in this registration ON or BEFORE midnight on Friday, November 21, and are only for OA members attending this event.

ROOM OPTIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

YOUTH

1. $75/night per youth for a hotel room (Friday night or Saturday night) to share between 4 youth. This includes a waterpark pass.  (NOTE: you may not have all 3 other people in the room, but you will NOT have more than 4 people in a room.) Room assignments are based on gender and age span must be within 2 years per Scouting America policy. You may indicate who you would like to room with (age appropriate) when you register & we will make every effort to honor that request. When we assign rooms, if there are open spots for your age category, we will try and partner with a neighbor lodge for logistics.

2. $250 for a whole room/night. You may split the room with up to 3 other Scouts, for a total of 4 Scouts per room, following the guidelines listed above, and entering the names & date of birth of the others (total of 4 Scouts per room) when you register.

YOUTH + (18-20 years)

1. $75/night per youth+ / per room of 4 total (We put the room mates together)

2. $150/night per youth+ / room of 2 total

3. $250/night per whole room & you list the other up to 4 total youth+ by name & date of birth. They will need to pay you directly. 

ADULTS (21 years & older)

1. $75/person per room of up to 4 people (We put the room mates together)

2. $150/night per adult / room of 2 total

3. $250/night per whole room & you list the adults by name when you register. They will need to pay you directly. 

Alll rooms come with 4 waterpark passes. (Additional waterpark passes are available to purchase directly from the resort.)
