Important Information:
Twilight Camp is designed to be a child/adult participant activity. We want you and your son to have a great time together. Here are some rules for adult participation that must be followed for the safety and well-being of our Cub Scouts:
1. New Tiger Cub Scouts - those boys that will be rising to the 1st grade in the fall of 2016 MUST be accompanied by their Parent or Legal Guardian on each of the 5 nights of camp.
2. Wolf through Webelos II (2nd through 5th graders). Packs and Dens MUST be accompanied by a minimum of 2 adults to comply with the BSA Standard for two-deep leadership and youth protection. This duty may be shared by the parents in the group - but at least two adult representing that unit must attend with your Cub Scouts nightly. If your Cub Scout is registering as an individual - at least one parent must attend nightly.
Questions regarding the rules for adult participation may be directed to our Camp Director, Denise Grooms via email to groomsd@earthlink.net
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Where do I get more details? Download and review our Parent's Guide
2. My son has special needs. Will he be able to attend? Sure! Please download and review the Special Accommodation Form.
3. Why do you require a Medical Form? It's for the safety of the Parent and Scout attendees and it contains critical care information that our Staff needs to get the necessary medical care to you in an emergency. Every Scout and Adult - regardless of age - must have a BSA Medical Form completed and signed prior to admittance to Twilight Camp. Don't be disappointed by having us delay your participation or be turned away from camp because a Medical Form was not completed.
All 3 of these forms are available for download in the righthand column.
4. I'm interested in Volunteering. How can I help? It takes 50+ selfless volunteers to make our Camp a success for our boys. We can use a hand setting up and breaking down each night. We need assistants at our activity stations and we need help in our food tent. Drop us a line at groomsd@earthink.net.
