MARAMECH HILL  DISTRICT PINEWOOD DERBY 

Ready for the Big Leagues or just want another shot to test your luck on the track, Come on out to Maramech Hill's Pinewood Derby.     All Are Invited to Race.

Judges will be ready to Select those with

"Fastest Car Overall and by Grade Level"

"Best in Show"

And others. 

We will also do an outlaw race for cars that want to operate outside the standard rules.

WHEN: March 10th, 2018  Weigh in: 10:30am Races Start: 11:45am

   Separate Races for Siblings & Adults 

HOW MUCH: $7 PER PARTICIPANT

Rules for the official Race, any that do not meet these specifications will race in the "Out Law" race.

All cars must pass the following inspection to qualify for the race:

Width shall not exceed 2-3/4"

Width between wheels 1 3/4"

Length shall not exceed 7"

Weight shall not exceed 5 oz

Bottom clearance between car and track - 3/8"

Axles, wheels, and body shall be from the materials provided in the kit.

Additional Cub Scout Grand Prix wheels can be purchased separately.

Wheel bearings, washers, and bushings are prohibited.
 

No lubricating oil may be used. Axles may be lubricated with powdered graphite or silicone.
 

The car shall not ride on any kind of spring.
 

The car must be free-wheeling, with no starting devices.

No loose materials of any kind are allowed in the car.
