Would you like to represent your Eagle Class at the Three Fires Council Eagle Recognition Event?

Congratulations on earning the rank of Eagle. It is an outstanding achievement and one you will cherish the rest of your life. 

We’re looking for two outstanding Eagle Scouts to represent the Class of 2020 at the Eagle Recognition Event that TFC holds for all Eagle Scouts and their parents.  The event will be held on May 14 or 15, 2021 at Camp Big Timber.  You would only attend one night.  One scout will be chosen to deliver a speech on each night plus will earn a $500 scholarship. You must have had your Eagle board of review in 2020 to be eligible. If this is something you’d be interested in, here’s what you need to do.

1. Schedule a time to present your speech with a small committee of TFC volunteers.  Register here by March 28, 2021. Audition times will be offered on April 10, 2021 via Zoom. You will be notified of your audition time and sent a log in link after registration closes.

2. Prepare a 4-to-5-minute speech relating to your experiences in scouting and what it means to you to be an Eagle Scout. It should include some type of charge or challenge to the Class of 2020. The speech does not have to be memorized, but you should give it to your parents or friends in advance of your audition and have it as practiced as possible

3. On April 10, log on 10 minutes before your audition time. You’ll be in the waiting room until the reviewers are ready to hear you. You should be in your field (Class A) uniform and on a laptop or PC with a camera and microphone.

Whether or not you decide to audition, please submit a photo of yourself in your full uniform and one or two pictures from your Eagle project (action shots preferred) by completing the form here. We want photos from all of the 2020 Eagle class to be included in a presentation during the event.
